KEELEY FORSYTH é uma artista britânica singular, cuja carreira transita entre a representação e a música experimental. Natural de Oldham, na região noroeste da Inglaterra, Forsyth iniciou a sua trajetória artística como atriz, destacando-se em produções televisivas como Happy Valley e The Casual Vacancy. Nos últimos anos, tem desenvolvido uma carreira musical aclamada pela crítica, marcada por uma voz intensa e arranjos minimalistas que evocam emoções profundas. O seu álbum de estreia, Debris (2020), foi descrito pelo The Sunday Times como “um dos mais notáveis dos últimos anos”. KEELEY FORSYTH is a singular British artist whose career spans both acting and experimental music. Born in Oldham, in the northwest of England, Forsyth first gained recognition as an actress, with standout roles in acclaimed television productions such as Happy Valley and The Casual Vacancy. In recent years, she has carved out a critically lauded path in music, defined by a haunting vocal presence and minimalist compositions that resonate with profound emotional depth. Her debut album, Debris (2020), was hailed by The Sunday Times as “one of the most remarkable albums of recent years.” It was followed by Limbs (2022) and The Hollow (2024)—the latter chosen by the Fade In team as their album of the year. “Uma mestiçagem demoníaca entre um voodoo encantatório e um post-rock térreo” — foi assim que a webzine Xsilence descreveu, com precisão e ousadia, o universo artístico dos franceses BÄRLIN. Ainda assim, essa definição ganharia novas camadas se mencionasse também a marcante presença do jazz na sonoridade do trio, sobretudo graças ao clarinete, que se insinua com brilho e delicadeza nos cenários quase sempre sombrios que o grupo compõe. Como se esse arrojo musical não bastasse, os BÄRLIN trazem ainda duas vozes profundamente expressivas, situadas entre os timbres dos Wild Beasts e de Antony “Anohni” Hegarty, capazes de conquistar qualquer ouvinte à primeira audição — ou aprofundar ainda mais o encanto dos já rendidos. Clément Barbier, Laurent Macaigne e Simon Thomy são os nomes por detrás deste projeto que poderia, sem esforço, assinar a banda sonora de uma hipotética continuação de Asas do Desejo, caso Wim Wenders decidisse revisitar a sua Berlim a preto e branco.
